Yes. Store employees are required to wear Curtis Lumber issueed apparel and in some cases safety shoes and other forms of personal protective equipment.

How often are employees paid?
Curtis Lumber employees are paid every Friday for the hours worked the previous week.

Do you offer direct deposit?
Yes. You may have your check deposited into your current checking and / or savings account.

To whom will I be reporting?
Ultimately, each store position reports to the store manager. Other positions will report to their respective department manager.

What are my work hours?
Your schedule will be determined by your manager.

Will I need to work overtime?
Availability of overtime will be determined by the Store Manager. Curtis Lumber Co. Inc., adheres to the law and currently pays one and one-half times the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in one week.

How will my work be evaluated and by whom?
Evaluations will be given by your Manager. You will be evaluated based upon job performance, attendance and overall knowledge of your duties.

If I have ideas, suggestions or concerns to offer, what channels exist to share them?

How old do I have to be to work at Curtis Lumber?
Selected positions are available for employees under 18 years of age such as cashiering or select office positions. Working papers are required for all employees under 18 years of age.

Yes. Every prospective employee must pass a drug screen and background check. CDL drivers are required to undergo additional testing in order to comply with state laws.
